My Journey
Since childhood, art has been a central part of my life. My mom is an art teacher, and I grew up surrounded by a wide variety of art materials. I would spend hours creating—from paper crafts and fiber arts to origami, sculptures, and painting. Though I ultimately pursued a degree in economics and business, my passion for art never faded. I took a ceramics class 10 years ago, and have rediscovered my creative voice. I haven’t looked back since.
Today, I dedicate myself fully to ceramics, focusing on wheel-thrown forms that I alter and assemble into sculptural pieces. My work draws inspiration from geometric structures, organic curves, and architectural elements. Each piece is a thoughtful composition of form and surface, brought together with a modern design sensibility and finished using unique surface decoration techniques.
Going forward, I plan to create a new series of geometric sculptures using hand-building techniques, and a different series drawing inspiration from nature.
